'Bout Charlie? Well...

Charlie Haylock is one of Suffolk's premiere entertainers.
Harkening back to an era when time was measured in
seasons, and long-distance travel meant Ipswich
to Beccles, Charlie reminds us what it means to be a
Suffolk-boy, born and bred.

His family didn't have a television, and evenings were spent around the kitchen fire listening to tales and yarns from generations of Suffolk folk. Charlie has continued this tradition of story-telling

As well as being a hugely succesful live entertainer, Charlie is the author of Suffolk's best selling book last year, "Sloightly on th' huh", outselling the "Da Vinci Code", Dan Brown's huge hit. Charlie is also a great favourite on the after-dinner and theatre circuit, other venues close to his heart are the pubs and the village halls of the Suffolk countryside, where his tales, monologues, mardles, and yarns originated.
'An' 'at's a fact.'
